Music Dances – CSS Zen Garden

Recently, I did a one-page CSS & Graphics  practice based on CSS Zen Garden, a great website for website designers. Basically this site aims for more graphic designers or visual designers than web designers, but I’d like to give it a try, since I started designing graphics quite a while ago. This was a great opportunity to combine my design and CSS skills together.

I spent roughly 2 days on designing, coding to make it real. At first I came up with ideas of “Chinese New Year” but found it kind of difficult to create beautiful designs quickly. Then I switched it to “Music”, which was also one of my preferred topics, and more flexible for designs. I tried to make it clean and put proper decoration for each part. Below is its last look:

Thanks for Yanbin’s review, I think there are too much texts on the top right of header, too. I will think about it when I make future website designs, and more usability should be considered as well. You could find it here. I would like to share my CSS file with you if you are interested, just leave me a comment and I will send it to you via email.
